Disposables

What is the shelf life of Disposables?

Most disposables have a shelf life of 2 years. Usually, the flavours will last beyond this, but the Nicotine content won't.

Can You Refill a Disposable Vape?

Disposable vape devices cannot be refilled and users can only use the pre-filled e-liquid that is supplied in them.

Are Disposables Safe?
Disposables which have been submitted and passed the MHRA’s testing criteria are safe for consumption. Always check with your local GP before switching to vaping.
How long do disposables last?

Each Elf Bar contains around 600 puffs. Studies have found that vapers on average usually take 132 to 140 puffs a day. So, if you’re averaging about 135 puffs a day, one disposable Elf Bar would last you a little over four days.

However, you should also keep in mind that this number is subjective as the number of days that an Elf Bar lasts depends on how long your puffs are and how often you vape in a day. Taking longer hits means that more e-liquid is used up. Furthermore, the number of puffs you end up taking also depends on your level of nicotine addiction. Higher addiction levels require more puffs a day to satisfy your nicotine fix.

Are Disposables Regulated?

Disposable vapes are nicotine containing products and therefore, they are governed under the TPD regulations.

This limits their capacity to 2ml and strength to 20mg. They must also be submitted to the MHRA for testing before they are sold to the public.

Do Disposable make Large Clouds?

No, disposable vapes are not designed to make large clouds.

Why Does My Disposable Vape Pen Keep Blinking?

This is a sign that your disposable has reached the end of its useful life.

Please dispose of it in a manner that is safe for the environment.

Which Disposable Vape Lasts Longest?

The lifespan of disposable vapes is typically measured as puff count. The number of puffs is determined by a vape’s tank and battery size. It’s worth highlighting that a puff count is an estimate, and will vary somewhat depending on an individual's vaping style; i.e. taking longer, deeper drags will slightly reduce the puff count. For reference: 300 puffs is roughly equivalent to 20 cigarettes.

Vaping

What is vaping?

Vaping means using an e-cigarette or vaping device. Both have a heating element that converts liquid into vapour which you then inhale.

How often can i vape?

Some vapers may use their e-cigarette very regularly, taking a couple of puffs every hour, whilst others may use it in the same way as if they were smoking traditional cigarettes.

We recommend using your e-cigarette at times you would usually smoke, as replicating your smoking pattern can help make switching to e-cigarettes easier.

Is vaping really cheaper?

Thanks to studies from Respiratory Research™, vaping was reported to be anywhere from 50% up to 90% cheaper than smoking.

What are E-cigs?

E-cigs, short for e-cigarettes or electronic delivery systems, are battery-operated devices that are used to inhale the vapour, which typically contains nicotine, food flavourings and other ingredients found in everyday foods.

They sometimes resemble conventional cigarettes, cigars, or pipes, or even everyday items like pens. Different devices, such as those with fillable tanks and LCD screens may look different but function the same.

Is vaping dangerous?

Research performed by Public Health England revealed that vaping was 95% less harmful than smoking tobacco cigarettes. Most of the damage caused by cigarettes, including cancer, comes from tar, which isn’t present in e-liquids.

What am I actually inhaling?

Vapour is made from evaporated Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerine, flavourings and (if applicable) nicotine.
